Just read the WP piece on the Stanford Internet Observatory. Christ on a bicycle! This is exactly how they win - wear them down with suits and congressional "investigations", pull monetary support for fear of alienating the people they should be investigating... Blah, blah, blah. Disgusting that Stanford can't find the balls to be an educational institution. But then that's what's happening to most of these "elite" universities, whose mottoes should be "Save Our Salaries" . Death by a thousand cuts.
